Family Finance Tip: The Canada Child Benefit (CCB) is completely tax-free. The CRA recalculates your payment amount every July based on your family net income from the previous year's tax return. Even if your income is currently zero, you and your spouse/partner must file your taxes every year to continue receiving the CCB payments!
